Saturday, September 21 is Date Night In The Park in the Farmers Branch Historical Park with live music on stage, movie on the big screen, Farmers Branch Market vendors, and food trucks lined up.
The night features the hilarious new comedy THE HUSTLE, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson as female scam artists. One low rent and the other high class, they team up to take down the dirty rotten men who have wronged them. The film is rated PG-13 and is a remake of 1988 comedy ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,’ starring Steve Martin.
The gates open at 5:30 p.m. and adults ages 17 and up are welcome to attend FREE! Ages 16 and under will have a $15 admission fee. Free parking is located at Metro Square Business park, 12300 Ford Road. Upon arrival inside the gate prepare to throw down a blanket to sit on or rent chairs on-site for $3 each courtesy of the Friends of the Historical Park.
VIP Cabanas offer a personal tent, VIP parking pass inside the Farmers Branch Historical Park, two Adirondack chairs, bottled water, snacks, four drink tickets and $30 in Branch Bucks! These are $125 and due to the popularity of the package, they will sell out in advance.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks may be brought into the park. Mustang Station Apartments presents the live entertainment featuring Six of the Matter on stage at 6:00 p.m. The band will play until the sun goes down and then the movie premieres on the big screen around 8:00 p.m. You’ll have plenty of time to stroll the park with your friends and family.

For one night only, the Farmers Branch Market becomes a “Market on the Move,” bringing 15 vendors to the Historical Park for the Date Night event and they are as follows:

Parking is free at the Metro Square Business Park located at the corner of Ford Road and Villa Creek. Go green and ride DART to the Station then walk to the Park. Cruise the Trails of Farmers Branch and park your bicycle inside the gates. A Map of the parking and location also includes driving directions. Service dogs are permitted for this Date Night In The Park, however we ask that all other pets be kept at home.
