Denton Drive Live

It’s time to kick up your heels and grab a Shiner Bock as the award-winning concert series Denton Drive Live pays tribute to country music icons George Strait, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings!   On Saturday, August 14, The Grove at Mustang Station transforms into a Texas style honkytonk with performances by Derek Spence and his Tribute to George Strait,  the Southern County Line Band (2018 CMA Texas Band of the Year) and a special tribute to those country, outlaw legends Willie and Waylon!   Come hungry and thirsty, there will also be food, beer, and wine for sale from Nuevo Leon Mex Mex, and shaved ice from Tikiz.   And bring the kiddos, we’ve got soccer darts, a face painter and a balloon artist.  The free, family-friendly evening will run from 6 – 10 p.m., and to keep everyone safe masks are recommended for all attendees.   For a full event and COVID-19 safety protocols, please visit dentondrivelive.com.  The Grove at Mustang Station is located at 12700 Denton Drive.
