Texas Hockey Day at Dr Pepper StarCenter Farmers Branch, a fun-filled, day-long event to celebrate hockey in the Lone Star State, officially kicks off the weekend of festivities surrounding the 2018 NHL Draft.
This free event will include the NHL Top Prospects Clinic, featuring Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Ben Bishop, youth and adult hockey games, autograph sessions with current Stars players and alumni and more!
All day activities include:
- NHL Top Prospect Clinic
- Autograph sessions from current Dallas Stars players and Stars alumni
- Presentation of the Normandy Homes Three Stars of the Year Award and Mike Modano Trophy to this year’s recipients
- Free public skating sessions
- Youth and adult hockey games
- Tours of the new Dallas Stars alumni locker room and Texas Hockey History Center
- Appearances by Victor E. Green and the Dallas Stars Ice Girls
- Bounce house, slap-shot cage, and interactive games
- Free popcorn and drinks provided all day
- Food truck
- Sportsradio 1310-AM and 96.7-FM “The Ticket” will broadcast all day from inside the lobby of the Farmers Branch StarCenter location. All of the station’s daily shows — The Musers, Norm and D Invasion, BaD Radio and The Hardline — will be live throughout the event
