Tour the Rose Gardens in Farmers Branch

Bird Sanctuary & Butterfly Gardens

The bird sanctuary has something for everyone. There are two feeding stations that attract numerous species of birds that can be observed while resting on nearby benches. Native and adaptive plant materials provide seasonal interest, inspiration for your landscapes, cover and food for the birds as well as nectar for butterflies and pollinators. Structures provide an opportunity for the young and young at heart to build bird nests out of the provided rope. A decomposed granite pathway allows for easy passage by foot, bike or wheelchair.  Parking is available at the Historical Park for easy access on the south side or park at Gussie Field Watterworth and enjoy the walk west along the creek to the north end.
