The Red Eye Restaurant and Bar is a lively dining experience reimagined during the multi-million dollar renovations in the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria. Hotel guests and visitors will discover a new refreshing patio as the perfect place to unwind and enjoy happy hour Monday thru Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The fully enclosed veranda accommodates 40 people with seating at the bar, high top tables, cushy lounge chairs, and umbrella shaded areas.

The space was formerly known as the Front Yard Restaurant and now beautifully transformed into a modern and welcoming design. The removal of both interior and exterior walls created an open flow for the double-sided bar that is appropriately centered. Guests may choose to enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner inside the restaurant, or out on the patio.

“Red Eye” is a cowboy term for whiskey often assumed was a reference to cheap whiskey. But the opposite is the truth since cheap whiskey was light or clear due to not being aged in charred oak barrels. So ordering a red eye was asking for the good stuff with the red hue from barrel aging.

The restaurant dining area inside provides ample seating for 112 and offers a “15 minute” menu for prompt service during the busy lunch hour. The items featured include pulled BBQ beef, chicken or pork sandwiches, salads, chicken quesadillas, and more. Dalee Miller is the Food and Beverage Director of the Red Eye Restaurant and Bar and has been with Sheraton since 2015. The new menu consists of “Leafy Goodness,” “Bar Baaaa Que With Us!,” “Sweet Endings” and other cleverly named dishes.

This casual full-service restaurant is open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Lunch opens at 11:00 a.m. seven days a week and the restaurant remains open for dinner until 11:30 p.m. The menu is available for room service for hotel guests.
